Justin Kirk, Nicole Parker, James Barry and more will bring These Paper Bullets! off-Broadway. The three—and several other cast members—will reprise their performances from the recent Geffen Playhouse production. Performances will begin on November 20 at the Atlantic Theater Company’s Linda Gross Theater, where it will open on December 15. Jackson Gay directs.
The show, written by Rolin Jones and featuring songs by Billie Joe Armstrong, is inspired by Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. It follows the Quartos, a “fab four” from Liverpool consisting of Ben (Kirk), Pedro (Barry), Claude (Fenkart) and Balth (Papaelias) as they search for true love and an album deal in London.
The cast will also include Bryan Fenkart, Lucas Papaelias, Stephen DeRosa, Christopher Geary, Brad Heberlee, Tony Manna, Andrew Musselman, Keira Naughton, Adam O’Byrne, Greg Stuhr, Ariana Venturi and Liz Wisan.
These Paper Bullets! will feature choreography by Kevin Williamson, scenic design by Michael Yeargan, costumes by Jessica Ford, lighting design by Paul Whitaker and sound design and incidental music by Broken Chord.
